Have you ever had visitors here in Florida and the weather reminds them of the weather they thought they were escaping. It's not quite that bad, but our weather, right this day, is not what people come to Florida for. At least it isn't snowing, we remind
them. But the good thing is that we get to be together, and eat together, a lot. That is a nice thing because our guests are at the beginning of their career life and their expectations are refreshing, they have opinions and can express them. They Know how
to make things work on my iPad. They eat everything. They appreciate home made cookies. They are helpful when someone in the house pushes the self cleaning button on the electric stove and can't figure out how to erase it and preheat the oven for the chicken
dinner. They didn't laugh to hard when we had to go to Subway for sandwiches when it got to be too late to cook the chicken. Just like we should be Hurricane prepared with bottled water and working flashlights, we need to have a plan for entertaining visitors
when the weather doesn't cooperate. Top of the list,make another pot of coffee and another batch of cookies and relax.
