When I have a good violin lesson, I feel really wonderful. I usually do have a good lesson, but sometimes I hit wrong strings, I sound squeakier than usual, my timing if off and I just don't feel good about my lack of accomplishment. My teacher is always
supportive , patient and encouraging. She never lets on when I probably damage her ear drums with my high pitched squeak. But today, I really had a good time. I have decided that I don't want to play second violin . So I played first violin music and got to
hear a melody . It was exciting. A melody. After I would play a challenging section (for me ), my teacher would praise me. I had to ask her not to, because I get so excited that I mess up the next few notes. To add even more pleasure to my lesson, I got a
new music book with classical pieces. I am so excited that I had to hold myself back from playing more after I got home. It's a good feeling to feel good about yourself.
