I felt really safe at lunch at a local restaurant. And, I now know where police go for lunch. I wonder if the other people at my table felt as safe as I did. I looked for holsters but the guys carry so much around their waists that I wasn't sure. I attended
a security meeting a few months ago and I think the police woman said that they carry about 30 lbs. around their waists. That's a lot of metal. I also wonder if those guys ate there every day. They looked like they did.Maybe they should work out during their
lunch time. When I worked, I didn't have time for a restaurant lunch. The office staff went out once a year for lunch. IT was a real treat. We dressed up. And cancelled afternoon appointments. I don't think we made anyone in the restaurant feel safer. Maybe
if we had worn our stethoscopes we would have.
