ON THE BACK BURNER

I am making a puplic announcement. If a certain person wins the nomination from his party and he ,God forbid , wins the Presidential election , I am leaving the country. I am not politically inclined. I'm interested, reasonably informed and always vote ,using the recommendations from the League of Women Voters as a guide. But I am scared. It's a case of culture shock. I can't find any common ground with the front runner, his supporters and me. I feel threatened by the rhetoric that I hear and the positive reaction the frontrunner gets from his supporters. It's not anything I agree with. Am I out of focus. Did I miss something when he gets such supports. Am I on a different path. I thought that I was pretty average, not radical. I'm middle of the road about a lot of issues, pretty liberal about many other things. I should be represented by someone who represents me, that is what makes me so scared. There might be more of "them", than of the "me's".
