There are some words that I really like and a few expressions that set my teeth on edge. Actually, actually is one of them. I love it when my young Grandson says, "actually,"and goes on with his thought. I never said actually when I was his age. I don't
think I had the confidence to start a sentence like that. Then there is "that having been said". I really don't care what you said before, just tell me what comes after the "been said." I'm on both sides of the fence with the word "however". I love you, however,
I don't like your behavior. I think I may have even said that one. Sorry about that. Then there is "whatever" , said in a certain tone that can stop you in your tracks. I understand that teenagers are good at that. "Have a good one", is another one. I know
and appreciate the thought, but finish the sentence. Please. Words hurt. Words can make a persons day. Sometimes you don't even need words.
