Cricket misses her two buddies. I didn't think that this would be the way she would behave. When her companion dog, Charlie, died,she almost celebrated. Her body language was,"oh happy Day,I'm an only child". After Lucky and JC left, she sulked for
the first day that they went home. (I did a happy dance. ) She didn't eat for 2 food cycles.( I wish I had held back on eating those truffles) . At the end of our doggy guests' stay ,the three were all best friends. Who knew? But this experience of three dogs
made me realize that we are now really a one dog family. I had thought that I wanted a buddy for Cricket, but she will have to be content with us as her buddy and with our neighborhood dogs as her doggie friends. Please, Do not let me forget this message to
myself.
