This is a special day. Not because it is Christmas. Not because I was lucky enough to have a quarter of my family around me. Not because I got to be with my family of choice ,but our friend got his transplant. I don't want to say that he got a heart.
Because he always had a heart. He was given a gift of a heart that works better than the one he had. Thank you to the donor for this. Thank you to the family that made the decision to donate . Speedy recovery, friend.
