I hope everyone has a day like this one, at least some times. It was rainy, then it was sunny. We went out to a leisurely breakfast with friends. We came home to just be able to sit and enjoy what the day brought. Nothing all that exciting, but it feels
good and calm. No rush to be any where else. No Dr. appointments, ,just sitting and being. I think this qualifies for being in the moment. On Friday, our Rabbi talked about being satisfied with less than what we think we need. He read a poem from a person
who was confined to a Cancer ward in a prestigious hospital. The person's poem told how he was happy to have one day without aspirin. Happy to be able to walk down and back the hospital corridor. Happy with his wife sitting next to his bed, knitting. So happy
with so little. That is what I need to do. Be happy just being able to sit , looking out at a sunny day ,being happy to be here. I am.
