I dreamt that I went to roast my turkey and it was still frozen ! I'm going to transfer that bird to the refrigerator this morning. I don't want my dream to become a reality. I've already started to hoard cranberries. I now have 4 packages in
the freezer. I like to take plain yogurt and put my cranberry sauce in it. And cranberry sauce does wonders for a sandwich. You can't be too rich, too thin, or have too much cranberry sauce. That sandwich after Thanksgiving is the best on of the year. When
our kids were younger, we went to Marshal Field's department store ,during their winter school break. The store had beautiful dining rooms and the decorations were for Christmas. Huge tree, lights, special menus. We had our favorite meal. They made an open
faced turkey sandwich,piled high with lettuce, tomatoes, turkey, bacon and thousand island dressing !! And don't forget the potato chips. What a treat.We did this trip every year until the kids stopped letting me take them. I think it was the thousand island
dressing.
