When I go outside and feel the heat and see the trees blooming for the second time in a year, I find it hard to adjust to the fact that Thanksgiving is almost here and the New Year is not far away. Where are the bare trees, the snow ,the mittens
and hats. I have lost my sense of seasons. My seasons now just run into each other and become one warm glow. This must be hard for Tropical merchants. How to get us in the mood for holidays when we spend our time beaching and putting on sun screen. I was watching
for the first cranberries to be put out in the produce department. Thats my sign of a weather change. I found them at my grocery store just last week. Cranberries are the most seasonal food that I know of. Many of the fruits and veggies that I buy ,can come
from any where in the world. But as far as I know, Cranberries are native to the U.S.and are a once a year crop. Let's hear it for cranberries. They are not fooled by all of this sun and sand. They keep me seasonally on track.
