Bob told me that he was reading."Grapes of Wrath" . I reminded him of the time when our whole family was watching it on our black and white TV. Our TV's have always been in our bedroom. The TV's have always been on the small side. On Sundays, in the
winter, we sometimes carried the TV (it was that small) down to the living room, put it on the piano bench, lite the fire and watch a football game or a movie. We were all crying our eyes out watching "Grapes of wrath", sobbing, when our doorbell rang. It
was a neighbor wanting to borrow a can of dog food. When they came in and saw all of us with red eyes and tears, they thought we had gotten some bad news. That broke the spell. We still laugh about that and about the time our doorbell rang just when we were
going to open the door for Elijah. It was a pizza delivery guy. Wrong house, But great memories, though. Did I tell you about the time....
