I learned so much yesterday that I think I will need a larger baseball cap. Did you know that the Fire Department will come to your house and check your smoke detecter ? That's good for those people who have a fear of ladders, or very high ceilings.
Or shouldn't even be on a ladder. Then at my violin lesson, a learned that what I thought was a spot under a note, had a musical meaning. I knew what a dot meant next to a note, but one under a note was new to me. My volunteer orchestra is playing a few gigs
this holiday season, so keeping my eyes open to musical markings is important. I will be playing at the Salvation Army Thanksgiving Dinner. That'll be so cool. I'm not quite up to speed on Jingle Bells, but I play a mean Dreidel rendition.
