I'm sorry to see baseball season end. And although I really would like a couple of cool days, this is my official end of summer. Does anyone wonder who picks up all of the shells that the players spit out while they are waiting to bat. I like to see
grown men blow bubbles with their gum. The players have also cleaned up their act now that they are on TV. They don't spit tobacco and they don't adjust their cups so much. It is a slow sport. Especially when the Cubs play. I notice that baseball games are
called when it is raining , but in football, they play in all kinds of weather. Are football players tougher than baseball players. My observations are that baseball players are smarter. They don't get concussions that often, they can read finger signs from
between a guys legs,and they don't play in the rain. And they play in the summer time.
