I did not intentionally become a Church Lady . I know the expression has a humorous connotation, but it is describing where I am. I came to Florida, without a support group. I found one at our Congregation. It was cozy and comfortable to be a
worker bee. Before I knew it , I was every where that needed a body. I really liked the feeling. I was asked to do something, I did it willingly ,to the best of my ability and I usually got positive feed back. And that is how I became a Church Lady at a Jewish
Synagogue. Worker bees are so important. It's a win win. Both parties benefit. There are a number of people like me at our Congregation. Some more visible. Would I do what I do if I were not so visible. I decided that yes, I would . The satisfaction and the
escape from where I would be if I didn't have this opportunity to help would make me not me . Everyone should give this Church Lady thing a try. It's really fun.
