Oct 23 It happened again. I don't know how much longer I can wait for the Cubs to win in their division and go on to win the pennant. I bought a lottery ticket and my deal with myself was that I would win the lottery if the Cubs won their game. I guess
it wasn't meant to be, although I haven't check the winning numbers yet. I just have a feeling that I didn't win. Really, why should I. How deserving am I.?And, I can't say that I will quit my job, but there are times when I would like to. I keep changing
the beneficiaries of my wins. So far I have a new roof and AC for our Congregation. And a new kitchen. I thought that would be a nice gesture . As long as I could spell out our last name on the roof with different colored tiles. I see that a lot on barns in
Michigan and I like that. Only low flying planes could see it and that would be fine with me. No one else has to know. But if you see a lot of construction going on, think of me. My Brooklyn kids, of course, are for the Mets and out of family loyalty, I will
now root for them when they play in the World Series. But, wait until next year. Oh, Cubbies, not even close!
