Oct.6 I saw a beautiful rainbow this morning. Then I saw a beautiful blue Jay. Then the AAA man came for my ailing car and everything went down hill . I don't know why the expression"down hill" means it is hard or not so great. Down hill is fast. Down
hill , you just have to stay on your feet. It's the uphill that is hard. Uphill is work. "He's Going down hill fast", is ominous. When you are on ski's, it's down hill that you want. Did I get this message wrong. Anyway, after the Blue Jay and the AAA man,
it was down hill , as in "not so good". I now know that we have an alternator in our car and it is down hill bound. On this same day, I learned that somehow my sliders in the living room are bowing and if I want to put the screens back, I need some supports
put in to hold up the roof line. Maybe I will forego screens. We are air conditioned. How often do we open our sliding glass doors.? Not that often. This has been a busy Monday. Maybe I won't look for a rainbow tomorrow. It did not bring me that pot of gold.
