Where else can you see this scenario; and older man ,very slowly walking his bike across a busy street. Very slowly. I at first, thought that he needed medical assistance . Since I was the first car approaching him, I saw that he was "walking" a turtle
across the street. I had to smile. And so did the driver of the car that approached from the other direction. I am so glad that the biker took the time to help the turtle cross the street. I often see a family of Sand Hill cranes, a momma, poppa and baby.
They graze very near the curb and that always concerns me. I do brake for squirrels. They take chances. Sorta like those fools who try to beat the train at a crossing. Tonight I watched two rabbits eat greenery. We were eating in our dining area and I felt
like we had guests for dinner. They were very neat eaters. Vegetarians, I see.
