I have a couple of mysteries that I need to clear up. The first is this rain. How do you turn it off. If you do not live where I live, this may come as a surprise. It is wet, very wet here. I have a potted plant in my patio that I had to cut back
with a saw. It wasn't meant to turn into a tree, but with our heat, a little sun and a lot of rain, it just out grew everything in it's path. I am calling it "Audrey" now and not letting Cricket get near it.
My second question has to
do with men and their pants pockets. Their arms are free. Women carry purses, over their shoulders, so that their arms ,for the most part can be free. Men use their pockets like we use purses. And purses can be forgotten, can be heavy and can be lost. Pockets
seldom are any of this. In a man's pocket there is room for a wallet,a cell phone,keys , comb,handkerchief. In my purse is a wallet,lipstick,date book,check book, pens, tissues,small note book,address book,cell phone,discarded receipts,and a dog treat(!) and
my keys. My wallet is so large that I can't fit it in some of my purses. Why do women carry so much around. I seldom randomly write a check. I hardly use the note book. I can never locate the pen in my purse when I need it. I don't use my cell phone much,
I am not known for putting on lipstick after the initial smear in the bathroom mirror. If your phone number isn't on my speed dial, I really don't need the address book. And since no dog has ever tried to follow me home, I probably don't need the dog biscuit,
either. I will rethink this purse idea. I think men are on to something. I'll give them this one.
