It looks like a snow day. The sky is grey, the wind is moving the palms around just a bit and the clouds are getting dark. Only thing wrong with this picture is that it is hot and humid outdoors. How deceiving. I'd like a a change in the weather. Maybe
not snow, but I'd settle for 75 degrees and dry. I'd have to put a sweater on. That's how my body has adjusted to the cooler temps. I'm a wimp now when it comes to cooler weather. When it got to be 70 degrees in the midwest, we let the kids go barefoot when
they went out to play. Now at 70 degrees, I put a sweater on Cricket. We use to keep a "weather or not " book at our cottage. I have the books here. It was a running account of the weather over years and years. Some July 4th 's had seriously cold weather.
Some December 25th, were balmy and no snow. We even jotted down some significant activities that we might have done. Like a dog not returning home during a snow storm and a child calling the local radio station to ask for help in finding him. The dog came
home with a frost bitten nose. He was accidentally locked in an ice fishing hut. Those weather notebooks have a lot of history. My weather notebook here would be ,"continued hot , scattered showers, yada,yada,yada ."
