I had to scrap what I had written for today, because the most special thing happened to me last night. The place that I love honored me . It was the best kept secret and I had absolutely no knowledge of it. It was special because it felt so good . I
do the volunteering there because it feels right, because I love to do it . Belonging to this special Synagogue isn't about a religious feeling, it's about family feeling. It's where I am me. We have so many wonderful people here under this roof that to be
singled out ,embarrasses me just a little. That is not why any of us give our time and energy to this wonderful home. I hope that I thanked everyone for all of the nice things that they said about me and for the beautiful gift I was given. It's nice to be
recognized, but shucks, I need this place that has helped me become who I was meant to be. Shalom and toda.
