Computers are just so handy. Besides playing Solitaire, they are useful. I needed to see how to do a knitting stitch for a project that I am making. I went to Google and put in my question. I followed the trail and I was able to see someone doing the
stitch and talking me through it. It was so easy. Even when we encouraged the kids to look it up in Compton's Encyclopedia , we couldn't get this same hands on experience. Anyone who still doesn't use a computer has cut themselves off from a whole learning
world. I do probably spend too much time "learning" stuff on my iPad. There is so much I need help with, and so much out in the world to learn, that I can't help myself. I use it for recipes, I used it for knitting questions, I keep in touch with kids and
grandkids, friends. I check the contents of Cricket's dog food. ( She likes the worse dog food on the market. And I give it to her because she eats it) I have used the internet to find out what questions to ask on an interview, what a holiday means, what the
weather is in Colorado. Where else can you sit in your jammies and learn all of this useful info. Now if I can just figure out how to send an attachment....
