ON THE BACK BURNER

This afternoon a group of people sat around my living room and each had a turn to tell about themselves. I learned a lot about everyone. Some stories we would like to continue, because you know there is a lot more there. I never got to my story. To be continued. When I do get my turn to talk, how early should I start. How long do I have to talk. THis could take a while. I'll just go for the high lights. I'll pick the most exciting to me highlights. My Bnai Mitzvah was the first. Second was being asked to light the Shabbat candles when I first walked into our Synagogue as a stranger and knew no one. The third was learning that I can stand in front of a microphone and still be able to speak . The Fourth ,is on going...finding my voice. It's never too late to do that.

I did not talk about myself. Only about the last years at the JCV. I wonder what I would have said. and where would I have started.
