ON THE BACK BURNER

I was pumping gas and that made me long for the days when an attendant did that for me. It is such a hassle to pump my own gas. I have to unbuckle, get out, put in my credit card. Then I have to remember where I am when I put in my zip code. Then to pump and wait around with the sun or heat or wind bothering me. It's such a hassle. In the old days, I sat in the car,and could look at my makeup in the visor mirror, or floss my teeth. My dental hygienist loves me. I am as addicted to floss as I am to my iPad. I am guessing those good old days will never be here again. If my car was electric, I could just plug it in to recharge right next to my cell phone, my iPad, my Fitbit and the key board for my iPad. I might need an extension cord.
