"Good friends just pick up the pieces and move on." A very wise sage, who is also a good friend said that. Profound ,yes. I was whining about being so wrapped up in me and mine, that I was neglecting friendships. I have good intentions of making that
phone call,or making cookies before I return a dish that someone brought a treat in to me. Thinking about my missed opportunities to reach out, makes me feel bad and guilty. I can change this by being more in the moment. Is it too early to make new year resolutions.
That is an advantage of being Jewish. I can celebrate the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah , and the secular new year . Just think, twice the guilt by not following through on resolutions. Is there an app for this ?
