Around here, you make your doctor appointments three months in advance. At the time you make the appointment, there is nothing on that date and your calendar looks like no one cares about you. It's pretty blank. By the time the appointment comes due,
your calendar is so full that you have to change your original appointment, because there are things that you would rather do. Like, go to a wonderful lady's 100th birthday luncheon. That is ,if she put it on her calendar. She is a very popular , busy lady.
We caught her with an opening in her date book. She scheduled us in and I am so happy that she did. I've already attended two affairs for her and I understand that she had two before this and two more scheduled. She is a living lesson for all of us. She is
everyone's role model. First we have to live this long and then we have to have talent,poise,charm,beauty,confidence,and grace. Give me just one of these on my 100th birthday, and I will be happy. Happy birthday, Thelma.
