I can't quite get to 10,000 steps on my new Fitbit, yet. I can get to about 8,000 steps and then the day is over for me. I could change the setting, but I want to do the 10,000. Once I get there, I think my Fitbit will buzz ,of something special to
recognize the event. I had it set on the running mode which is different then the walking mode. They seem the same to me. But I was told, they are different. I think my foot hits the ground as many times with each stride. It just takes a shorter time to exercise
and maybe you use up more calories. I'd love to be running again. If you have run and had to stop for injuries, you know what I miss. If you have never run, you probably think the rest of us are crazy. I feel the same way about golfers. It's a truce. We're
both nuts. Playing in the hot sun, hitting a small ball. Running in the heat, in circles. All the same. My Fitbit doesn't pass judgement on me. It just states the facts. 7962 steps done. 2038 to go. I know I can, I know I can. Maybe today.
