I get my Fitbit today. I am so excited. But before it comes, I had to do a little house keeping re getting fit. It's like I straighten out the house before my cleaning crew comes. There are some things that I need to do before they come. Like dust.
With the Fitbit, I started walking the day I ordered it. I have to be ready to do 10,000 steps. I'm short, and my step length is shortened . Does that mean I can get away with fewer steps? Probably not. When I walk, and I am getting to the end of my circuit,
I often count my steps. That helps make the distance until I finish seem more attainable. I some times count between lamp posts. Anything to keep motivated. When I first started running, I counted driveways. I've come a long way since then. I am really going
to have fun with that Fitbit. I am hoping for a a good experience with this new electronic toy. Since I have held off getting a smart phone, I am surprised at myself for wanting this. What I really expect from this Fit bit is that in no time, I will look like
a California Girl. Blond, long legs, tanned. Just saying.
