ON THE BACK BURNER

Tonight's sun set and cloud formation was spectacular. Kudos to the one who creates such marvelous sky scenes. The clouds were exploding. The white fluffy ones looked like Hiroshima explosions. The heavy grey one made me hustle Cricket along. I thought they were going to open up on me. And in all of these clouds, the sun was on fire. I wasn't expecting to see it , but I was able to watch a huge sun set. Too bad that Cricket doesn't get as excited about this as I do. Her evening walk is strictly business. That's OK with me because I want to have this moment all to me. I'm a little selfish like this.
