This isn't a political statement, but this has worried me every time I see this request in TV. I have a problem with our service men and woman who were horrifically wounded , fighting in places where they should never have been sent. I see pleas for
public donations for groups of these wounded heroes. I am embarrassed that our government is not taking full responsibility for them for all of their needs. Individuals shouldn't be asked to help, except as volunteers to make their lives better. These brave
people gave up limbs, gave up their mental health in some cases, gave up their youth and their future. We can never give these tangibles back. There is something wrong when on TV I see, Give to the Wounded Warriors. .We shouldn't be asked. It should be done
under the same bill in our Congress that sent them to fight. It should include everything that they need. Everything. I just felt that I had to say something about a country that needs a bake sale to support these people who are reminded every day, that they
are not our first priority.
