I'm watching a bunch of 10 year olds cook on a major network. At that age, I could probably peel a potato. We did not have a potato peeler. I distinctly remember that. My Mother took great pride in peeling a potato with a paring knife. Since she wasn't
a particularly good cook, her pride in potato peeling was understandable. These kids on TV are outstanding. Their families are so lucky. When other kids are playing video games, these kids are in the kitchen fixing dinner. There are so many skills involved
with cooking. Reading a recipe,time management, math, organizational skills, imagination, creativity. These 10 year olds have it all. Watch out Ina, Giada, Bobby, and anyone else out there . These kids can cook.
