ON THE BACK BURNER

Yesterday, I had to go to my second favorite store, Office Depot. My first favorite, of course, is Best Buy. This time , I needed to buy a cartridge of ink for my printer. I also had a problem. I couldn't remember how to get the old cartridge out ! The whole printer is mostly plastic and I was afraid of breaking something if I exerted any undue pressure. Not to worry said the person who showed me how to remove my old ink. I asked her if she would sign a statement to that affect. She refused. I did do what she said and I was able to replace the ink. What I don't understand is how I couldn't figure out how to do it by myself. It was really easy. I just needed someone to tell me to just do it . It's a generational thing. The kids, and everyone in electronics in my favorite stores are kids, aren't afraid to pull or push things on their electronics. I'm too timid. From now on , I will push or pull when I confront my iPad, computer,or printer. I am still bigger than they are. Really.
