Our Illinois daughter is moving .She and her husband have one way tickets to Israel .They have purged their belongings to the basics, with a few special things that they can't part with. I noticed that we are joining in by purging our own home of stuff".
I didn't realize this phenomenon until our NY daughter was here and she said that she was in the process of decluttering . First her clothes and now she was working on convincing her partner to purge some books in the decluttering process. Then I talked to
a Grandson in Boston and he said that he was making several trips to Good Will because he was getting rid of "stuff". Is this a trend. Or, are we vicariously living through our Illinois daughter, and planning a journey. I already purged my condo when I had
a renter while we were in Israel. Right now, I am looking at my cook book collection. Do I really need so many Kosher cook books. I don't even keep kosher. And Vegan. I tried ,but I couldn't commit. Vegetarian cook books I'll keep. They have good side dishes
in them. And how many crock pot cook books do I need? How many ways can you crock ? I think I'll think about this for a while. I'm not going anyplace, anytime soon.
