Have you noticed all of the kayaks on top of cars? It's like an epidemic. First , it was bikes, now it is kayaks. I don't think those people really take the kayaks off of the cars and put them in the water. If you are
cool, you have a kayak on top of your car. I had a kayak, but I had to struggle to put it inside of my mini van. I was too short to get leverage to put the dang thing on top of the car. I finally sold the kayak. We had a bicycle rack that we kept attached
to our car for a few summers. Another status symbol. We took our bikes to Michigan . We took our bikes to Colorado.After being chased by country dogs, we decided to stick to Lincoln Park in Chicago. Colorado had another attack problem.. hill and altitude.Not
condusive to riding , at least for us flat landers. We never even took the bikes off of the rack. I still have the rack, not the many geared bikes. I never got it out of low gear anyway.
