I was thinking of all of the unmarketable skills that I have. I have removed wallpaper and put up wall paper. I have painted ceilings and walls. I can change a tire in the cold. I can put in insulation. I can change washers
in faucets. I can even use a machine to sand a floor and then stain and seal that same floor. I can climb a ladder, although lately, I have felt not so calm on one. Which reminds me, I can change light bulbs. I took a course at our local high school in furniture
making and I made a magnificent woodeden worktable, We took it to our cottage and it remains there to this day, I hope. I can refinish furniture, Just thinking about all of these things that I can do, makes me feel pretty good. The next time that I feel as
if the world is skipping past me because I don't have a smart phone or understand iCloud, I'll remind myself that I can do a lot of things that are ,if not technical, are still practical. Oh yes, I iron, too.
