I did something today that I have never done. I carried an umbrella for a dog. It was after time for a walk for Dixie and It is raining hard . I couldn't even get her to the door. How does she even know that it is raining.
As long as I was willing to go out in the rain, she had no choice. I put us both in our raincoats and carried her outside. To let her understand that
I respected her dislike of the rain, I opened the umbrella for her. She was super quick on her task and we were back inside in a matter of minutes. It rains a lot here in the NW ,but this rain seems particularly nasty. I am trying to figure out why we feel
like this. We are in a dip here so we don't get the same weather as Seattle, usually. We are more accustomed to grey days with some showers. This rain
has been almost unrelenting. I think we got the wrong weather forecast. I can suggest a few more places that could use a long soaking rain. Like Colorado.
