It is nasty outside. We are paying the price for having two weeks of wonderful weather. It's the kind of day that as a professional mother, I texted my son and asked if he wanted a ride home. His reply was " no, but if I
come to my senses,I'll call". Can a 50 something year old kid get embarrassed if his 88 year old mother picks him up from work? I've lived here long
enough that I know when a certain side of the trailer gets the rain, it is stormy and we are in for some nastiness. I am glad that my daughter left yesterday when the weather was better. I would be concerned for our driving back to PT. We have mostly back
roads once we get off of the major highway. Everything looks different at night and rain and wind would not help. Because I planned to get my flu shot, I walked Dixie earlier and although she wasn't happy about the drizzle, going early kept her from being
drenched. that's one thing about having a dog. I am out twice a day, no matter what the weather or temperature. I wonder if that has contributed to my good health. Phew phew phew. (If you are not Jewish, that's what we say, when we make a statement like that.
