Today was a perfect day. Every now and then one of these days pops up. It isn't earth shattering, it doesn't make headlines, or waves, for that matter. But it was peaceful, quiet, stress free and best of all, it was a Saturday.
I always like to give Saturday special recognition. I don't observe the day as a traditional Shabbat kind of day. I just do things that are meaningful to me, no apologies for making the day about me. I
had breakfast, outdoors, with my son. I went to a yard sale. I scrubbed a lawn chair and moved it to my deck. I went to dinner with a friend. I did two of the three things that I planned to do today. I
miserably failed number three, which was to not spend so much time on the internet. . I went online and couldn't draw myself away from it. What a wonderful invention. There is so much to learn and it is right in this little iPad. It's a good time to be alive
and I want to take as big a helping of it as I can.
