Family meal Sunday is one of my favorite days.We all see each other almost everyday, but this is the one day of the week where we actually sit together ,relax, exchange
ideas, ask advice about home projects, and tell what we did during the week or what we will do this coming week. I have the feeling that my days are pretty routine. Although I am doing a lot, saying out loud that I preserved beets or played Mah Jongg sounds
wimpy. Freezing pounds of tomatoes just doesn't make much of a story line. I did start a new knitting project, three times. That's how many times I restarted the scarf that I want to knit on the train. I
guess it was lucky that I got stuck on Row 2 of 197 stitches. Recasting on all of those stitches is a challenge. I just could not interpret the instruction for the edging row , which is a lace pattern. Of course, there could be a problem with the pattern,
but probably not. After three times trying to do Row 2, I gave up and decided to make a different scarf. I only ripped this one twice. I'm on a roll now.
