Today was much too busy for me. It was yard sale-ing day. Sales were everywhere, But we had a time restriction... croquet. Our once a year croquet game interfered with our schedule. Our neighbors who have the set, are avid
players. They know the rules and are vigilant about all of us following them. We try to get away with some of the lesser known rules, but we get caught every time. We can also get pretty boisterous and we do laugh a lot. Some of us have better eye hand coordination
and we all try to be kind, but sometimes we stay near the same wicket for many turns. We do look forward to this time with neighbors. My grandson came late from the farmers market ,but he managed to get a game in before we broke for the afternoon. He also
came bearing veggies. Corn, eggplant,beets, tomatoes,zucchini,cucumbers,potatoes. Google said that you can freeze eggplant, so I followed the directions and did. Also I just bagged the tomatoes and threw them in the freezer.The beets got cooked and dressed
with a pickling solution. I ate a tomato for dinner and couldn't finish it, it was that large. If I wake up with a rash, I will know it is from pigging out on these beautiful, juicy tomatoes. Gotta eat
them while they are so plentiful and fresh.
