There is no change in the color of the leaves.The air doesn't have that fresh fall scent, but I get the message that summer is over. I appreciated what little of summer we had. My grandson told me that if I travel 30 minutes
from PT, it is 20 degrees warmer. We are in a bubble here. The weather is completely different from Seattle's, which is our next large town. This is the driest season for us and most of the grass is crisp and yellow. I have to believe everyone when they say
it will come right back after the rainy season starts. I had a special Shabbat dinner with my grandson and GiL. After dinner ,when my grandson was walking me to the car, we saw this most beautiful crescent moon
that was glowing orangey red. Very special way to end a very special evening.
