I am on a quest to use all of the produce that my grandson brought from the farmer's market. Today I made a salsa and some gazpacho. The gazpacho was an after thought when I had left over salsa. I drained a lot of tomato
liquid from the salsa and didn't want to waste it. I don't know why I don't make gazpacho more often. The food processor does all of the work. The only veggie that I have left is the beets. For sure I will
do them today. I am trying to dry basil in salt. So far, the basil isn't doing much drying. My grandson said that the salt left after I do finish drying the basil would make great rimming salt for a drink. The salt is taking on the taste and smell of basil.
Sounds good. It would even make a great salt rim for a glass of gazpacho. We may have created a new drink idea.
