It's a big responsibility to have a garden. Now I know why I never had one before. Just moving the sprinkler around
is a job. And I never put it where I want it to be , on the placement. That means positioning it. Walking back to the water supply. Turning it on and waiting to see if it is in the right place. It usually
isn't. So I turn off the water, and walk back to the sprinkler, move it, walk back to,the water supply, turn it on and then decide if ai like the sprinkler where it is. If it is right, I time it for for
30 minutes. Even with that, if you move a half inch of dirt, it is bone dry. We get so much rain during the rainy season that we are spoiled when it comes to this time of year. Our high is 67 and the low is 53. In Florida, we would be feeling the cold, but the residents say it is warm. I dress twice during the day. My walk with Dixie is winter and later in
the day, I take off a few layers. Not too many, because I still have Florida in me. I made borscht with the produce that my grandson brought me. Yesterday it was artichokes, today borscht and tomorrow is more pickles. I am becoming domesticated. It could be worse.
