ON THE BACK BURNER

What a nice day. For family meal ,I made breakfast burritos ,even down to making my own veggie refried beans. I knew making so many beans would be useful. We had a lengthy discussion on blueberries. We decided to go on a tasting day trip to various blueberry farms in Sequim. We don't  want to plant the wrong berry. I expect my lips and tongue to be blue by the time we get back to PT. . I wonder if we have time for a Costco stop.? finally, my tomato plants are producing tomatoes. I still have a lot of flowers on the stems, but I guess that means that they all won't develop at the same time and send me into a tomato eating frenzy. And my corn has tassels. That is really exciting. I gave up on Basil and dill. They just didn't survive. My grandson works the Saturday farmers market  and he just brought me fresh garlic and more cukes for making pickles. I'm curious about the fresh garlic. I've only had stored garlic, so it may be stronger or milder. I'll have to try it out. Next season, I know that I want onions and garlic. Now that Io have been growing veggies for two seasons and I am getting more experienced , I am focusing on what I can use and actually take care of. I am the queen of snow peas. I'm planting them, for sure. I wonder how lentils would do here. I'll check with Google, my mentor.
