Yard sale day. I noticed this morning ,when I went to walk Dixie, that my car was missing. Usually, who ever wants to use it, will ask or tell me that they are taking it. Seeing it gone at 8 in the morning , was a little
disconcerting. Right away, I had negative thoughts that someone got sick and they were rushed to the hospital, etc, etc. Turned out that there was a tool yard sale , starting at 8 and my son wanted to be the first one
there. We usually don't leave the compound until 10:30, so he would have missed whatever he was looking for. Mystery solved. No one was sick or hurt. Our yard sale- ing was interesting. We went to one that
was in the home owners wood working shop. I wanted to move into the shop. The structure was as large as a 2 bedroom house would be. One wall was two barn door sized windows that looked over a valley ,here in PT. The other three walls had windows ,about 10
feet off the ground, entirely around the three walls. The light was fantastic. The building would make a beautiful ADU,which is very popular around here. Then I wondered about the actual family, They were
selling books ,whose subjects ran from country gardens to the history of architecture. And they had one of my favorite books, " The secret life of Trees". I bought it. They were selling, toe shoes, tap shoes,
snow boots and mucking about boots, riding helmets for horse back riding, skis, life jackets ,ice skates, bocci balls, roller skates, and stuff. I like to think about the people selling at yard sales, but I couldn't figure out these people. Where do you ice skate
in PT. Is there a dancing school in town? This is what is fascinating to me about these sales. Who are these people. ? Why am I here?
