Saturday, my favorite day ,didn't disappoint me. Yard sale-ing seems to be on the way out. Maybe everyone already decluttered after being home bound for months . I am not proud, I go to the free pile first. Last week I took
home a wood frame for a sling lawn chair. I remember them from the old days. An outdoor, wooden chair that you could adjust to lean back in the chair and with a canvas sling , that was usually frayed. I went on line when I got home, and saw that you could
still find the wooden frames for about $35. Then I went to Esty and found frames with crocheted slings that sold up to and over $300. I know how to do simple crochet, so now I am crocheting a sling. The project is only 17 inches wide, so it is going pretty
fast. Of course , I have ripped my work more than once, but that is part of my learning curve. I have a lot of curves ahead of me.
