Today is yard sale day, but we did something different. My son bought another piece of equipment , a huge electric metal saw. We had to go into Seattle to pick it up .
Tool people trade equipment. Like baseball cards. Only a whole lot bigger , dirtier and uglier. We drove about 90 minutes to a ferry, not one in PT,took it to West Seattle,a very cool area ,just outside
of Seattle. In West Seattle, we spotted two random yard sales. I bought Dixie a new red sweater. At the swap, my son exchanged one piece of equipment for another piece. To me, my sons piece looked like
a giant milk shake mixer. I have no idea what it did. The thing he got in exchange looked like a grey, giant metal thing. He seemed happy about his exchange and so did the guy who got the milk shake machine. I had lunch at my first food truck .That was cool.
Then a different ferry to get home, another 90 minute ride and about at 6:30 we got back to PT. A full day away from Dixie, who was really glad to see me . She has great bladder control. She was indifferent
about the sweater.
