ON THE BACK BURNER

The sun was out all day and I took that opportunity to mow the back yard. Mowing didn't bother my wrist at all, except when I tried throwing the electric cord from my right side to my left side. I caught on quickly, and used my left arm to swing that cord. Easy peasy. I would love to get into the veggie garden, but I don't want to play in the dirt yet. One of the ladies that I play Mah Jongg with, brought in an arm load of rhubarb for us. I have some growing ,too, but it doesn't look that ripe to me. The leaves are pretty enough that I am in no hurry to cut it back. When I do cut it, it'll be my very first vegetable from my own garden, this season. My son says that I am now a gardener because I transplanted parsley that had spread in places that I didn't want . I didn't know that parsley has a mind of its own. I thought that only mint was invasive. i've got plenty of both.
