Someone, also new to PT,asked the same question that I have been asking. "When does it get warm.". The answer given was July 5 th. I guess I will be warmer by 24 hours than she , because I am going for July 4th. I've mentioned
that here in PT, we have 2 grocery stores. One is a QFC , which I think is Kroger,and the other is Safeway, which I think is Albertsons. The Safeway is my favorite, because it has everything that I usually need. QFC seems
not to carry name brands that I am looking for or is out of what I want. Like dried beans. What store is out of dried beans? Today , after I played Mah Jong at a friends, who lives in Port Haddlock, the
town next to ours,I went to her QFC. What a difference. A Deli department,take out pre made complete dinners, Sushi bar,Starbuck's. aisles of stocked shelves. I was overwhelmed .After spending $60 and not even filling one shopping bag, I decided to come back
another day, with a list. This shopping experience almost made me forget that I didn't win one game of Mah Jongg.
