ON THE BACK BURNER

If I say " rain, rain,go away", will it stop raining? My DiL tells me that we are lucky. If we were in Seattle, it really rains a lot. And the temperatures don't change much from one day to the next. It's still in the 50's. Maybe my son wasn't kidding when he told me that it will get warm on July 4 th. At exactly 4 pm today, which was 48 hours after I had that procedure on my wrist, I removed the compression bandage. The stitches run horizontally and it looks like I have on a cross hatch bracelet. But everything looks great and ai am back in business. With all of this rain, the grass looks like it was given growth hormones. Unless someone notices,it'll have to just keep growing until I can do it. 3 of the 7 of us , here in our compound, are in the DC area, where the bride and groom are having a reception for all of the friends and family who didn't make it to PT . By the time all of the celebrations  are over, the new couple will have partied from the west coast to the east coast. And loving every minute of it.
