I think that the good people of Port Townsend have decluttered everything that there was to declutter in their homes. The yard sale-ing is dismal. One advertised sale was so pathetic looking, that we didn't even get out of
the car. One address was an on going sale that we had been to before. This time, they seemed anxious to get their garage back and for one dollar, I bought a paper back book, a double strand of fake pearls(
Dixie needed a replacement strand) and a knife. We did get to the Farmer's Market where we had a very brief visit with my grandson who was manning a booth selling various types of sauerkraut. My favorite
is the beet sauerkraut. He makes several different ones ,including a horseradish sauerkraut that people seem to like. He actually makes the different sauerkrauts for a local farm ,in their rented commercial
kitchen. The beet sauerkraut is so good, that I heated mine up and just use it as my veggie at dinner. I know 3 people in PT. I saw 2 of them at the Farmer's Market. I'm getting to be almost native.
